For this month’s Main Kit only layout at Studio Calico, I tried to push myself to try new techniques with common supplies.
I started out by stitching three arrows with white embroidery floss.
Next, I added a few droplets of Calico White Mister Huey.

From there, I arranged my photo, patterned paper, and embellishments to my liking and secured them down.
Then I placed a strip of that awesome ombre washi tape onto a scrap piece of white cardstock and cut out a couple of hearts to place around my page.

After the hearts were glued down (using a mix of dimensional adhesive and a tape runner), I cut out a row of arrows from the SC patterned paper and placed it on the page.
Using the American Crafts’ cardstock letter stickers, I spelled out my title and determined it was done!

Thank you for sharing this! I love to see the process. I have punched things out of washi but I am never brave enough to hand cut. Those hand made touches are what make you such a grear artist!
