Today I'm back with another project in collaboration with Avery. This time I'm making an "Oh Happy Day" banner using their printable perforated sheets and their easy-to-use design software. Avery Design & Print Online makes it super easy to create custom designs you can print at home. It's completely free to use and offers a selection of pre-designed template to customize. You can also choose to start from scratch and import your own artwork onto any of the templates. The easiest way to get started at Avery Design & Print Online is to enter your product number. In this case it was 80507 - Avery Matte White Banner Paper. Creating a free account allows you to save your projects and access it from any computer.

In regards to printing your own artwork, I recommend printing your designs on a plain sheet of lightweight copy paper first and then lining it up with the Avery banner paper and ensuring that your letters are in the correct alignment by holding both sheets up to a light source. Full disclosure: I learned this the hard way ;)

Once I had all of the pages printed, I carefully popped out each banner piece from the perforation.

Next, I grabbed some of my Knot + Bow twine and began threading it through the holes in the letters.

From there, I hung the banner on the wall using a few strips of washi tape and did some rearranging to space out each letter evenly.
