Studio Calico Cirque Project Life Kits
As a contributor for Studio Calico, I only receive kits on occasion now. It was really freeing only having to do 1 small assignment, but at the same time I miss the joy in in having to document my memories with all the fun products on a monthly basis. And I missed the need to make a mess on my desk. I used the Project Life kit and Pantomime for this one pager. I'm still working on filling in some (okay maybe a lot of) blanks for my 2014 album.
Decided I would have to have at least 1 spread or page that represents each month in the 2014 album. This will make it easier to fill in the blanks (I think). I definitely wanted to include the days we spent in Florida, even though it wasn't a complete week, and it went from a Friday to Wednesday in November. Since this page made sense to go chronologically after the Hello Kitty event, I had to use the back of this page. For the square pockets, I intended on keeping it pretty simple. Instead of leaving the grey cardstock from my stash plain, I cut the card into strips and adhered it to fill in the sides next to the photo. With the other 2 cards, I added the washi tape on the sides. I love the way they turned out. The sunshine is from the adorable Spring Card + Sticker Set by Life.Love.Paper. - and the best part is that it's just $5.99. The script "Time for new things" card is part of that set too!
So there you have it, a couple more pages to add to the 2014 album. How are you all doing on your memory keeping from last year? I think I am going to just fill in the blanks that I can and not stress about the rest. There's plenty of new memories to be made! Plus, if I feel it's important at a later time, I can always go back and do it. Who's with me?!
