It was so fun teaching at Crop & Create in Markham earlier this month. It was my first time teaching in Canada and I just loved every bit. The event was put on by Scrapbook & Cards Today Magazine, which is celebrating 10 years this month! So grateful to Catherine for having me and shuttling me around so I could be on the Marilyn Denis Show too. I didn't take nearly enough photos, but I did make an entire video, so I hope it feels like you were along for the ride.

Had lunch with some of the Kin Community Canada team at Thoroughbred. Then Catherine snapped this behind the scenes look while I was filming just after finishing setting up the gallery wall for the show. Love my Canon G7X for filming, and …

I taught two classes on Saturday, did a make and take Saturday night (then crashed so hard out of creative exhaustion)! I taught my last class on Sunday. It was absolutely wonderful meeting so many creative and uplifting women who share a love for memory keeping. Connecting in person is often hard to describe in words and capture in photos, but trust me, if you have the chance to meet other like-minded amazing people in person, I suggest you do it! Everyone was so nice and full of smiles and I had the best time with them.

After I was done teaching on Sunday, I hung out in the crop room and had a 3 week old baby fall asleep in my arms!! It was bliss!

I even got to see some family for just a minute. Well, technically we aren't related but I did grow up with the lady in the glasses as my aunt basically. My mom and her went to school together in India. Growing up I lived in Chicago and remember more than a few 11+ hour drives to Toronto to visit. She also has twin daughters who happen to be in Cabo or somewhere exotic like that, so unfortunately I didn't get to see them but I did get to see their little sister, Jessica, which was super fun!

Also so thankful that the weather was not too cold - just about 17 degrees, but not snowing too much and pretty manageable considering I spent most of my time indoors.

Too much fun!! I'm trying to convince Vicky Boutin she needs her own YouTube channel. For those who have met her in person, I know you'd totally agree with me. She's not only hilarious, but just an amazing human being with incredible energy. Loved being around her and all the awesome people at Crop & Create Markham. Already hoping to teach again at a future event!

There's a giveaway in celebration of 10 years on Scrapbook & Cards Today's blog, so be sure to check that out!

This blog post was fun to put together, and I am really going to try and be better about recaps and keeping you all updated on stuff that's going on. The videos on YouTube have just taken up a lot of time and then I feel like I am being repetitive when I type stuff out. Perhaps I will share the photos of the traveler's notebook once I print my pictures and finish it up. Let me know what you think in the comments below! Enjoy the video!
