Limitless Kitchen Design with LG + Pinterest Contest

When JC and I were looking to buy a house a few years ago, one of the things high on his wish list was a nice kitchen. He does much of the cooking when we are home, though that has been changing lately as I've expanded my horizons and I try to make a few of our dinners every week now. The kitchen we had in our Venice apartment was more like a small closet. Two people couldn't really be in there at the same time unless one was only washing dishes and the other was only tending to the stove. If the person at the stove had to get something for the fridge, there was physical contact. As much as we loved living there and somehow survived for 4 years in that tiny place, we were delighted when we first saw the house we are in now, as the kitchen is not only bigger, but brighter and can fit more than just the two of us in it! We did the least amount of work to the kitchen after moving in - we only repainted. And then this summer the Bosch fridge we had completely died. We went refrigerator shopping and found the perfect one by LG. We got the model with the French doors and the freezer on the bottom. And we love it. So when LG asked to collaborate on spreading the word for their new "Black Stainless Steel" kitchen appliances, I happily agreed.

I couldn't make it to the event in New York last night (major deadlines for client scrapbooks that need to be finished by tomorrow) but it all looked amazing. HGTV design stars David Bromstad and Emily Henderson co-hosted "Limitless Design" a first-of-its-kind showcase of kitchen design possibilities presented in a way never done before - bringing Pinterest boards from the digital world to the real world. The event featured LG's new "Black Stainless Steel" finish which is an exciting evolution to the traditional stainless steel that has been a mainstay in millions of kitchens. Its warm, satin-smooth and sophisticated finish is fingerprint and smudge resistant, which is amazing! The finish is available in an array of new refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers and microwaves.

Here is where we can all join in on all the excitement! From now until January 29, 2016, Pinterest users everywhere can showcase their "Limitless Design" ideas for a chance to win some amazing prizes.

Here is the board I've created on Pinterest:
