A bit of a random mix for your Tuesday. A digi page made using Rhonna Designs.

And a couple pages from The Girls Loft September kit:

My cousin, Cindy learned the nail marbling technique and I had her hold the mixtapes as well as a couple of the essie polishes she used.

And projects from some of my amazing students in Big Picture Classes, The Good Life Week 1:

The gallery is full of even more goodness and even folks who have never sewn before are showing off their fabulous projects. If you are still thinking about joining the workshop where you will have forever access to all the PDF's and videos, you have until tomorrow, September 28 at 10:00pm to sign up!

a winner & bangs at last

Apologies for the delay in announcing the winner of the giveaway...
Lexi, Congrats - you've won the Studio Calico tee! Please email hello(at)amytangerine(dot)com to claim your prize.
And here's a quick little digi page made from Rhonna Designs. Excited to be a part of her new adventure & design team. Looking forward to incorporating more digi elements in upcoming designs. Layered washi tape along with more layers in my hair, and finally giving into the call for bangs. Happy Labor Day!

i get by with a little help from my friends...

Just thought I'd share a smattering of cool stuff some of my cool friends are doing...

Jen Renee knit this gorgeous cotton/silk wrap/scarf out of lightweight Noro Taiyo yarn. The 'To Japan, With Love' wrap/scarf is up for sale here. Go bid! Proceeds from this auction will go to the Red Cross Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami efforts. Pass it on. And feel free to re-blog this and use any of the images in this post.

My friend Dana came over yesterday to use our heat seal machine to make custom shirts for Asa's 4th birthday. The shirts turned out adorable and the dogs and I got to spend a few hours with Asa and his little sister, Starling. (Both are family names btw, how cool).

Silvia from the Netherlands ordered this tee for her adorable daughter. Love the layering and the look on her face. Precious. (digital elements from Pugly Pixel, paislee press, and fuzzimo)

Collaborations are happening, and it's super exciting. We made these Studio Calico shirts (photo taken from KP's blog) just for the design team, but there is interest building from subscribers to get their hands on the limited edition shirts. Hmm... we might just have to do another run of them, so stay tuned.

idle hands...

On the plane from LAX to ATL, I didn't have wi-fi and didn't have much motivation to get crafty since Buster was in his carrier at my feet. The TV screen located directly in front of me wasn't working properly and I didn't feel much like reading. Since it's hard for me to sit still, I got on my laptop and had some fun with digital scrapbooking elements. Decided to use an envelope from Pugly Pixel to house a few bits from the trip.

Elements from Pugly PixelFuzzimo and Splendid Fiins. Photo made using Poladroid.
