Zinia's Fun Tags and Floral Clusters Layout
Hello everyone, it’s Zinia (aka Abstract Inspiration) again to share with you another layout I created by mixing the two latest collections designed by Amy.
For this layout, I decided to mix two of my most favorite elements, tags and flowers. “Oh happy Life” collection has a package of gorgeous die-cut tags with stunning delicate designs. “On a Whim” includes a package of fun watercolor resist tags so I thought it would be really fun to mix them together.
I used some Faber-Castell gelatos and Pitt markers to color my resist tags and then I started building up my page. For my background, I used a subtle pattern paper design called “Ray of Light”. I arranged my tags as if they were hanging from an imaginary piece of thread and created a base for my flowers to sit on.
To build up my flower cluster I went through all the embellishments and picked every single flower. I mixed ephemera pieces from both collections, some clear stickers and also a ton of flowers I fussy cut from Oh Happy Life “Good Morning” pattern paper. This is definitely my most favorite paper from the collection cause you can create a ton of extra ephemera pieces by cutting out all the flowers.
To help my photo pop, I used a few pieces of pattern paper from On a Whim 6x6 Paper pad. The scaled down patterns peek around the photo beautifully adding some extra color and definition.
To finish off the page I added a couple of hearts around the page as well as a heart-shaped ephemera piece for my journaling.
I really love how fresh and whimsical this layout looks and the process of making it was nothing but enjoyable.
