Take Me Out to the Ball Game

While we were in Chicago in June, JC got us tickets to the Pirates vs. Cubs game. Although I can't say for sure, I think it was my first time to Wrigley, even though I lived in the northern suburbs for the first 15 years of my life.

Upon waking, we got Jack dressed in the Pirates jersey that JC got him from Fanatics, and printed out our tickets. We had an awesome visit with friends, lunch at Crosby's Kitchen and then headed to the ballpark. JC got us amazing tickets just 3 rows behind home plate. It was hot and sunny for a while, but Kelly and I took Jack inside and he ended up falling asleep in the Ergo for about 40 minutes. He woke up in time for the 7th inning stretch and continued watching the game until the end. Though the Cubs won 6-3 and his certificate got a bit wrinkled in the luggage, we all had a blast at our first game at Wrigley Field.
