Abbot Kinney

This little guy loves going on adventures and dining out, just like his parents. So last week we decided to step out of the studio and welcome Jamie to the team with a lunch at Gjelina. An insider tip is to put your name on the list first - we arrived at 12:45 and were told a table for 3 would be about 25 minutes. Then feel free to wander the awesomeness that is Abbot Kinney Blvd in Venice. It turned out to be the perfect amount of time to walk over to our favorite paper place, Urbanic. We always usually order a bunch of things to share. This time was no exception, so we got the kale salad, fries and mushroom pizza. Turns out Jack loved trying fries for the first time, and enjoyed the mushrooms as well. I also brought him snacks and a go-go squeeze because he loves his fruits.

I miss being able to walk or bike to Abbot Kinney, but am really glad one of my favorite streets is still just a short drive away. And because I was full and Jack was getting antsy, I completely forgot to order my favorite dessert ever, the butterscotch pot de creme. Next time, Jamie! Photos by Jamie Waters
