So I have a ton to share today - including the new addition to the studio right by the door - the world map cut out of vinyl using my Silhouette. I was a bit nervous while applying the vinyl to the wall, but think it turned out quite lovely. And it was so easy. I used this Penny Arcade digital file and converted the .png file in my Silhouette software using this awesome instructional video from Heidi Swapp. Also, please ignore those little wispy baby hairs that are coming in. Yikes.

Seriously, these Penny Arcade kits were so fun to work with. My layouts came together with ease, and with a limited time frame, I really appreciated that. This month, I challenged myself to use multiple photos for every single layout. Mostly because I realize that I have a lot of photos hanging around and want to put them to good use. Here's what I made using the scrapbook kits, including some photos of how the pages came together.

I designed the stamp set in the Spun Sugar add-on, so other than the world map silhouette, it may be difficult to distinguish what's my writing in the layout and what is actually stamped.

It was easy to play catch up on some of Jack's album using the Project Life kits. Once again, these aren't full week spreads, as I am just approaching this album in a different way, just documenting how I feel at the moment. We went from Ventura to Vegas, and I covered lots of fun little bits.

You can shop for all the Penny Arcade kits here and see all my projects here.

Keep in mind that subscribers can shop the pre-sale each month at noon EST on the 27th. Others need to wait until the clock strikes midnight tonight. Become a subscriber and get in on all the benefits and rewards that Studio Calico has to offer!
