Basketball Diaries
It looks like I've got my big basketball and he has his little one.
I asked my mom to snap some photos in her backyard last week and naturally the doggies had to get in on the action.
Week 34/35 bump (and life) update:
Everyday for 2 weeks now the little guy has had hiccups. Sometimes it happens even 2-3 times a day.
I have been waking up once or twice in the middle of the night with a cough and the need to pee. A couple days ago I slept all the way through the night!
Thank goodness for Skinny Cow ice cream sandwiches from Costco. Some days it's one for baby, one for me. And some days I feel just like an actual skinny cow.
Still having a smoothie every day - at least on the weekdays.
Without a cup of coffee or tea (yes, my doctor says a cup a day is fine) in the mornings, I get super sleepy around 4pm and need to lay down. Which is why I try and have some small amount of caffeine if the naps can't be scheduled.
We have been sleeping in the new house! This is big. And so is our bed. We got a California King and had no idea how difficult it would be to find the necessary accessories. We got a Stearns & Foster mattress (we like it firm) and are absolutely loving the sleep we are getting.
Not sure how much bigger my feet have gotten but I tried to wear my running shoes just for more support one day and they were very snug. Oy.
I'm rather embarrassed, but I was going through a closet I still had clothes in at the house we rented for my mom (I lived there 5 years ago) and found clothes I packed with me from Atlanta that I had never worn. People, I moved from the ATL in October 2003. Almost 10 years ago!
Needless to say, now I am definitely only bringing things I LOVE into the new house. Going to keep this piece of advice in mind - "Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful."
Which is making shopping for items slightly more difficult. I am being picky, JC is being picky. There's a lot of searching and scouring at the flea market, furniture stores and online, but we are enjoying every bit (well, most) of the process.
