Studio Calico August Kits Reveal
The only regret I have with these Marks & Co kits is that I didn't have more time to work on the layouts. I received them while abroad on the babymoon (photos to come soon) and then had less than a week where I was cramming a ton of work along with readying the new place, along with fighting jet lag, shortness of breath, and a cough. Thankfully, I can work pretty quickly. But I wanted to spend more time because this kit is definitely one of my favorites ever. It has so much of the newest CHA releases (including Cut & Paste!) along with some awesome exclusives that I can see on tons of future projects - you have been warned. Plus I didn't even get to break out the Silhouette to play with the digital cut files as some of the other creative team members did. And they rocked it. I did get a chance to snap some photos as I put together this layout using the Scrapbook kit as well as the Project Life kit.
From my Nikon D90, I hooked up my Pivi printer to get these digital Instax photos. I heard this printer is nearly impossible to find now. If you do happen to stumble across one, I highly recommend getting it. After some stitching and finishing touches, here is how the layout turned out:
And one of the things I am most excited about is the exclusive embroidery stencil kit.
