Silhouette Premium Vinyl

Even though I have had it for quite some time now, it wasn't until the other day that I pulled out the Vinyl starter kit. Instead of creating wall art, I decided to add it to a little box (originally housing chocolates but now I use it for photos) and my mom's mini iPad. I got a turquoise roll of premium vinyl, which is the perfect shade of blue.

Using the camera cut file and the bird cherry blossom doily cut file,I prepared both designs to maximize the use of the vinyl. After the Silhouette finished cutting it, I peeled off all the excess vinyl to reveal the designs. Then I spent about 5 minutes going through and peeling off the little details I didn't want transferring (like the holes in the camera and the spaces in between the branches and flowers.

Next I put applied the transfer paper sticky side down, on top of the design.

I placed it onto the box and rubbed it in a bit.

Didn't want to waste the heart, so I stuck it onto my iPhone case. Love that this stuff is removable.
