$100 Giveaway from Freckled Fawn
As a long time fan of washi tape and really anything that Freckled Fawn does, I am delighted to be hosting a pretty fantastic giveaway. Here are a few ways I used some of their new wood chips to add a bit of fun to finish off this Project Life spread. I backed the Hello with some white cardstock and adhered it onto the patterned paper. Leaving them simply naked is the easiest way to to add just enough interest and dimension.
Lately I've really enjoyed prepping different journaling cards while testing out fun techniques. I wanted to use the love chip as a mask for a Love List journaling card for the week of Valentine's Day. I trimmed some Studio Calico Sweet paper to 3x4 and grabbed my Mister Huey's Letter Jacket and headed outside for some misting.
Once it dried, I was left with the colored wood chip and a journaling card that I outlined and filled in.
Another option if you want to add some color to the wood, is to simply pat it on an ink pad.
Now for the really fun part…
