December Daily + a CAMEO Giveaway! (CLOSED)
Alright, so one of my favorite parts of the December Daily album is putting together the cover. You can see 2010 here and 2011 here. Another favorite part is decorating the insides and then having the books completed (thru the 25th) to look at for years to come. This year I am using the Studio Calico kit (which is sold out), and I will be elaborating more on the process in the 25 Days class (you have until Nov 30th to sign up) as well as showing progress photos here on the blog.In between other work, I got excited about getting something on the cover, so I stuck a piece of washi tape along the bottom. Then resumed the other work.
A couple days later I carved out an hour, determined to finish the cover. Sadly, the washi tape was not sticking to the fabric, so I just peeled it off and started from scratch. It was a bit deflating, so I decided to work on the inside instead. I stamped Ann-Marie's "Sending You JOY This Season" on the inner cover and felt a rather ridiculous amount of happiness. It sounds silly, but sometimes you just have to dive into it by taking a really small step. Then I cut a few of Ali Edwards' designs exclusive to the 25 Days class.
Since I can't seem to work in a tidy, neat space, I spread out a bunch of items from the kit and my collection and went to town.

Digging the simplicity of it and plan on adding a lot more color and bling and all sorts of things on the inner pages.
