Rainbow Bright
If you've been a fan of Studio Calico for a while now, you've likely collected a few bottles of Mister Huey's. (In most cases, it's probably more than just a few). Well, I thought it would be fun to get them out and use 5 of them on a single page. Instead of spraying using the nozzle, I took off the cap and used the stick for some bigger splotches. Coming soon are the droppers, which will create a similar effect. I created a rainbow look on this page as the background. The look of the bright colors on the natural kraft is something I am digging. Big time. Here is how the page came together using Studio Calico's October Main Kit, Roller Rink:
I used 2x2 Instagram prints from Persnickety Prints in a linen finish. I like this finish for objects, rather than for people in this small size. My favorite finish for all Instagram prints is the Matte Card Stock. Here is the completed layout, and you can check out the rest of the October kit layouts in my gallery. Note: if you mix white and black splotches, I suggest waiting for one to dry completely before using the other. If you don't, it could end up looking a bit like birdie doodoo. Just saying.
