Dreaming in Color
Had the pleasure of teaching my first in-person class using the new Sketchbook collection last weekend in San Diego. We had an amazing group of ladies from all over - even neighboring states. A few ladies drove over 2 and half hours to join in the crafty fun for the day. Michelle from Paper Tales rented out a space just steps away from the store. Can you tell that the space used to be a tanning salon?
The sweetest mother and daughter creative duo!
All in Amy Tangerine tees!
Sweet Kelly from Lawn Fawn and Daisy from Eclectic Paperie.
A big huge thank you to all who were able to come out for the day (and everyone at Paper Tales who worked so hard to make the entire event enjoyable). Sharing stories and seeing everyone getting their craft on with Sketchbook warms my heart more than words can describe. Total dream come true. Love that they were also able to dive into all the new Studio Calico loveliness too!
Kelly Purkey and I are teaming up again this weekend at Our Paper Place! No worries if you didn't get a spot in the sold-out class - there is plenty of shopping to be done and we'd love to meet you.
If you all can't make it to any in-person classes in the near future, Collect & Create launched yesterday and is completely self-paced so you can check it out at your leisure! There are 5 videos and a message board to interact on, so it's really the closest thing to us being in the same room.
Also, The Good Life workshop on Big Picture Classes that ran for a month last year just got converted to a self-paced class. Check out the details here. Happy weekend!
