20140306-054355.jpgFor my Two Peas in a Bucket Project Life spread, besides making a mess, I decided to use the Associate nesting die set. The teal cardstock was something I wanted to feature consistently throughout the whole layout.20140306-054407.jpgI typically use the Cuttlebug that I have had for years - it's compact and folds up nicely. I also have the Fiskars Fuse, which takes up a bit more space (but stays folded up under my desk) and is used mainly for larger projects. I nest the cardstock and the die between plates B and C. Then I use this brad setter to poke through the holes to pop out the design if it's stuck inside. 20140306-054416.jpg20140306-054426.jpg20140306-054434.jpgProject Life by amy tan using Plus One Copyright Two Peas in a Bucket - where you can shop for Plus One products | Supply List and detailed photos The grey frame is also included in the die set and fits perfectly into the pocket.

PL X 2

Lately when I have been working on Project Life spreads, it seems that I have to really try hard to make sure the entire spread isn't of Jack. I suppose it's a good little challenge though, considering most of the photos I am taking lately include the cutie. Here are a couple of recent Project Life spreads using mostly Plus One products. seriously darling layout

Every time I get the latest collection samples to work on catalog materials, I get goosebumps. Sometimes I dive right in and make a bunch of projects, while other times I just like to sit and stare at the new product. This time it was a mix of both pleasures. The funny thing is that when I first started putting together this post, I typed the title, "Amy Tangerine dies", and that just sounded much too morbid. But really, I did want to introduce the die set that's new to American Crafts and part of the Plus One collection. amy tangerine | plus oneIt's great not only for card makers, but also scrapbookers and Project Lifers. The polaroid style frame is 3x4 inches and fits perfectly into a PL pocket. The embossed stitched details are my favorite part. And I love the little heart.amy tangerine | plus oneamy tangerine | plus oneUsing the Counterpart paper as the background, I layered on the goodness. "Darling" was stamped with Mama Elephant ink in my new favorite color, Ocean. I also used the stitching template for the house and made a stitched corner detail using half of the square. amy tangerine | plus oneamy tangerine | plus oneamy tangerine | plus oneFor more, shop Plus One at Simon Says Stamp.

quick card for a plus one

Valentine's Day is just 2 weeks away. Here's a quick little card I whipped up using Plus One products that I may use for the occasion. I did the stitching beforehand on the tag - it comes printed and with holes punched for the stitching guidelines.amy tangerine | plus oneamy tangerine | plus oneamy tangerine | plus oneamy tangerine | plus oneSupplies: Peer Paper | Bits Layered and Stitched Tags | Aqua thread | Foam Phrase Thickers | Pop dots For your plus one and more, shop online at Two Peas In A Bucket. AmyTanWoodCards

Excited about these exclusive wood pieces from Two Peas in a Bucket! Thinking of all kinds of ways to incorporate these into layouts, mini books and Project Life spreads. In fact, as soon as I receive the quote card, it's going front and center on this daybook. Wood on wood, baby. Scheming up ways to also use the camera, the xo, and the 2x2 tiles set.
