So many awesome moments from Creativation. As much fun as it is seeing brand new products, it's the connecting with people that tops it all off. Perhaps that's why I couldn't make the video any shorter, but I hope you enjoy it and feel like you were right there with us!
Had no idea the morning I decided on filming getting ready to go to CHA to set up the booth that I would have a special unexpected visitor in my house. Makes sense though, and I'm so glad I got it on video and managed to finish editing the CHA Set up video for you here. CHA video to come in a couple weeks as I still have some other videos from December to share with you first. Enjoy!
Hi hi! There have been some things that I have fallen a bit behind on sharing here, so I thought it would be a good time to just do a catch up post. First things first, all is well here - just got done with CHA (videos coming soon!), it's busy as ever, but things are really great. Personally I feel like I am in a very good space right now with balance and routine and rhythm. The only thing that overwhelms me at the moment is that there is so much going on and I have neglected to share these things on the blog. Perhaps it's because I am doing more on YouTube and sharing regularly on Instagram. Whatever the reason is, I apologize if you have been missing more frequent blog posts. Here are three things that may be of interest!
1. Back in September (YES, September!) I was featured in a post by Elizabeth Dillow as part of her Unfinished series. Pretty ironic, eh? It was fun to be interviewed and if you want, you can read it all here.
2. Jamie and I were guests on a podcast called Live Inspired talking about our online class, The Creative Life: Documented, which is still available! And we have an awesome private Facebook group that has formed with quite the creative community. It was fun talking with Tracie Claiborne about the class and creativity in general. You can listen to the episode here.
One of the things I love about being at a tradeshow like CHA is getting to spend time with fans and friends. It's inspiring just connecting with people who share common creative interests. The energy is almost indescribable. Even though I always feel like I am taking plenty of photos, somehow afterward it never seems like enough. To expand on the little recap I did on CHA in this post, we decided to shoot a little video to showcase some of the favorite things Jamie and I spotted while we were there. I didn't get to walk the show floor that much, but when I did, there were so many things that caught my eye. I wish there was a way to bottle up the awesomeness that I felt a couple weeks ago. This video comes close.
If you want to see more details of the Rise & Shine booth and collection - both Scrapbook.com and Paperclipping Roundtable did great wrap ups. The collection should be available in stores sometime in March.
And if you haven't downloaded the free #amytangerinehandbook (how cool are all those first pages and covers?!) by entering your email and name, please do so! We love seeing what you're sharing and plan on featuring some of those posts in an upcoming video. We'd also love if you subscribed to the channel on YouTube as we have some fun projects in the works and you can be the first to find out about them. For those of you who have also taken the time to send an email, thank you! The notes truly brighten our days. And since I am currently on jury duty, the extra dose of sunshine is especially nice!
Hello! I had intended on sharing more about CHA, but on the final day I'm both exhausted and invigorated. So for a happy medium I just thought I would share some snaps from my phone and go into more detail about the debut of my 8th collection with American Crafts, Rise & Shine at a later time. As usual, I loved meeting new people, seeing old friends and I am feeling very blessed to be surrounded by creative professionals who know how to do business while still having fun.
