Spent my first weekend in LA in 3 weeks (Atlanta-see Hamilton loving on his hippo gift, Whistler, and Mammoth)
and had such a wonderful time relaxing and enjoying the amazing spring weather. I am so happy about this new month, as January was cold, rainy and since I suffer from a slight case of SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder), a little tougher for me than other months. February was full of fun, but March just seems like it will be lovely.
I joined a gym and have been everyday for the past week! The Sports Club LA is amazing and have had fun taking the dance classes, although it takes me a little while to get the moves down, we have a lot of fun with it and it's a great work out. My friend Courtney joined and we get to take classes, exercise and enjoy the steam room together! We even enjoyed an awesome lunch at the cafe there. If you're interested in joining, Albert has some awesome deals right now that are hard to beat. Yay for feeling good!
One of my favorite things about scrapbooking is that you can take it with you. Because I only went snowboarding on Saturday, I was in on Sunday, flipping through magazines and using my scissors and glue stick (never leave home without those) and laying out the page. Using real bits from trips is truly what makes this page special. (And of course the American Crafts accents that were added after getting home). Really though, seeing friends from college who I hadn't seen in over 7 years was truly the best part.
Love this shot of our go green tote , available at Earth Kits for Kids.
I cannot believe this little guy is almost 2 years old. I have known his mom for about 12 years- we lived together in college, worked together on various projects, and moved across the country within 6 months of each other. She's a great friend who just stopped working to be a full-time stay-at-home mom. I am super proud of her and her zest for life. I stopped by their house the other day and she was sporting a vintage amy tangerine tee (it's a few years old).
In other tee news, we just shipped these out to See Jane... - the shirts come in S, M and L- 145 Linden Ave, Long Beach, CA 90802 (562) 436-9869
These totes have been a hit for us! We heard a certain celebrity has been toting one around town, but I haven't seen any photos yet.
