happy to be...

HOME. After...

24 hours in Atlanta. 2 funerals in 1 day. Sad but beautiful at the same time. Life is really meant to be LIVED and that is what she did. There are so many amazing articles about Sara and I draw true inspiration from her life (and her amazing daughter, Isabel) and the fact that her service was one of the most amazing things I have ever experienced. It was a true celebration of her life, filled with tears but also lots of laughter.

24 hours in Boston. Cold Boston. Though it was nice to see the freshly fallen snow from the night before, it was much better to be inside where there was heat. Joanna and Mark played lovely hosts, as well as the girls at Queen Bee for our first launch party for The Art of French Kissing. We had a bunch of great press hits and here are a couple of them.

The event was an editor's pick for going.com:

Editors' Take
Join author Kristin Harmel (America's answer to Bridget Jones) and designer Amy Tangerine (whose T's are sold at Kitson - 'nuff said) for a book launch/fashion party with champagne provided by Piper-Heidsieck.

44 hours in New York. Took a Greyhound bus from Boston's South Station to Port Authority in NYC (only $20!) and checked into my favorite place in Times Square, Hotel QT. We enjoyed a quiet Sunday night in the room watching the Oscars and eating Ray's pizza.
Then it was a nice relaxing day with 1 meeting and then it was party time again! So much fun to see so many familiar faces. I will have to go through the pics and post them later as I am exhausted. Just decided to make it easy on myself and this will be the "happy to be..." week of blog postings... or maybe the rest of the month and into March!
Kristin and I will be in Atlanta at Bill Hallman next Tuesday, March 4th and on Thursday, March 6th we will be at Shou'ture in Winter Park, FL. Come see us!
