Day by Day

The days continue to go by faster and faster. My plan for documenting 2014 is much like 2013 was - to stick with Project Life - it may be on a weekly basis, it may not. I will continue to do scrapbook pages, and hopefully not simply stack them into a pile, but actually get them into page protectors and albums. Jack will have an album dedicated just to him, and I will do a separate album for random photos. I also plan on giving more of the pages away to family members and friends who will appreciate it. Here are the projects I made using the Copper Mountain Scrapbook kit only. WakingUpNovLoveList And here are a couple made using a mix of the Scrapbook kit plus add-on's. HappyDance I pulled some photos that were printed from my stop in Recife, Brazil from over a year ago. I have plenty of kit items left over that I plan on incorporating into other pages and projects, but I knew I had to use up that globe (there are 2) from the High Point add-on.InstaCaptureExcited to be not only on the Studio Calico scrapbook team, but also the Project Life team. Project Life CT 2013

It was an honor to be on the 2013 Project Life Creative Team. This year seemed to fly right on by. Though I skipped more than 10 weeks randomly throughout this year - my Australia & New Zealand trip is completely missing - I am grateful for this way of documenting. Kari posted this last batch of projects on Becky's blog. Here's one of my favorite spreads from this year.Amy Tan Project LifeI plan on continuing this style of memory keeping on a somewhat weekly basis for 2014. Some of these photos are from Persnickety Prints (they offer a Project Life size with optional rounded corners that fit perfectly into the pockets) and the others are printed at home from my Canon SELPHY CP900 Wireless Printer. Which actually reminds me, I need to order a few boxes of paper and ink.

evalicious... so delicious

One of my dear creative partners, Evalicious, sent a marvelous assortment of products to play with. I'm a big fan of puffy stickers in general, and these are no exception.evaliciouspuffy Since I am pressed for time these days, I managed to squeeze an hour of creative time in to create a one page Project Life type of spread. Love their acrylic stamp sets - I mean, how cute is that camera?evalicious | amy tangerineevalicious | amy tangerineevalicious | amy tangerineThe best part of waking up these days is our morning conversations with Jack. He is so cheery and doesn't make a fuss. Once fed, he either falls back asleep or stays up to talk (well, coo) up a storm. It's a special time to savor. The family photo was taken a couple days after the others, but I am not the least bit concerned. So glad I got this documented, and it may just be the way to go these days. I used my Project Life mini kit from Cut & Paste and other supplies from Two Peas In A Bucket and Simon Says Stamp. Here is how the spread turned out:evalicious | amy tangerineEvalicious is a small indie, online shop that offers scrapbooking paper tags, badge buttons and rubber stamps. They have just added puffy stickers to their line of products as well as new collection called Everday which features feminine yet masculine colors, has a focus on good eats with a touch of wood and chalkboard. Their products add just the right touch to your scrapbook layouts, PL spreads and paper projects.

from greeting card to PL card

My cousins gave me this adorable Hallmark card for the baby shower and I found the perfect way to save it for Project Life.3x4 Punch | Little Mr. RightI simply used the 3x4 We R Memory Keepers punch (which was available at Studio Calico and Two Peas in a Bucket) - just click Notify Me to be alerted when back in stock. The punch is easy to use, but I must admit takes a bit of muscle. I like to put it on a solid table (preferably a low table - that isn't a high countertop) and push both my palms (and arms) into it.3x4 Punch | Little Mr. Right 3x4 Punch | Little Mr. RightI saved the inside of the card with the hand written message, but love that this part can live inside of one of my Project Life pockets.

Project Life on Two Peas

There are so many new products that are now available at Two Peas in A Bucket. I chose to showcase 3 new collections for this week's Project Life video. Since I have found a nice rhythm and routine for what works to getting the spreads done, there aren't really too many mind-blowing techniques shown. New products and a couple tricks here and there to make it work, but really it's about enjoying the process and getting the weeks recorded. Still love incorporating the memorabilia throughout the week. These bows by Maggie Holmes and Crate Paper are even more fantastic in person than in the photo. And although the We R Memory Keepers 3x4 punch is out of stock, you can hit the "Request & Notify Me" button if you're interested in it as soon as it comes back. I really do love using it. For this spread I mixed the page protector styles with Design A on the left side and Design B on the right.Project Life | Amy Tangerine for Two Peas in a Bucket Project Life Week 34 - full supply list | copyright Two Peas In A Bucket If you'd like to take a look at how this spread came together, check out this video.
