Mother’s Day Gift Ideas - Etsy Roundup

As you’ve probably already figured out, I love things that are handmade. When it comes to giving gifts, a gift you’ve made can feel really special. Since that isn’t always a possibility (you might not have enough time or the materials on hand or you may not be as crafty as you’d like), the next best thing is to support a wonderful maker and buy a gift on Etsy

Mother’s Day is coming up, so I’ve compiled a list of handmade products on Etsy that would be perfect for a special mom in your life. Scroll down to see who makes them and click for links to where you can buy all of these items!

Remember to check the time it takes each maker to create and ship these gifts to see if they’ll be sent out in time for Mother’s Day. To be honest, I wouldn't mind if any of these came after the actual holiday. I prefer spending quality time with my family and doing things together anyway, so if one of these arrived later in May, I would be just as delighted. Some of them are custom made to order, which makes them even more special.

Mother's Day Handmade Gift Guide

Mother's Day Handmade Gift Guide | Amy Tangerine

Scoured Etsy for some fun Mother's Day presents I would want to receive myself (no, that's not really a hint for JC or Jack - wink wink). Instead of waiting until the last minute (although it is less than two weeks away!), I thought it would be fun to do some browsing online.

this is serious business

Actually, it's really not. But it is the same exact title Rob Dunbar used for his blog post to accompany this picture.

And it made me laugh out loud. Hope it puts a smile on your face too. Thanks Rob, for your kind words and incredible talent. Happy Monday everyone!

some saturday stuff

Swell stuff for you on this sweet Saturday:

For those of you who have asked about how I scrapbook-on-the-go, Ali Edwards has a class called Scrapbook on the Road that looks like it's full of wonderful information. And it's just $14!

supplies: Hambly, American Crafts & Studio Calico Cindy and I had a ton of fun in a photo booth recently. We each wanted to have our own strips, which is why we repeated the poses that worked.

Unfortunately there aren't too many photobooths around our area. Fortunately there is an app called Pocketbooth that's been pretty darn fun. Will have to try printing these strips to see how they turn out!

Did this layout for the Two Peas Studio Calico challenge:

And it's a little eerie because I can totally relate to this post entitled "You Are What You Eat by said twin, Kelly Purkey.

Excited to see all the photos that will hopefully come from the photographers who are ordering our customizable camera tee.
I really needed to read these inspiring words this morning.
Enjoy your weekend - I have a fun little giveaway to announce on Monday.

love

After getting tons of emails (thank you!) inquiring about how to order custom onesies, I finally updated my Etsy with a couple items. The onesie pictured was ordered by one of our favorite loyal customers. You can still email me directly for orders - 1) you tell me exactly what you want 2) I send you a Paypal invoice 3) it gets paid and then your order ships within 2 weeks. Simple as that!
