$100 giveaway from Freckled Fawn

As a long time fan of washi tape and really anything that Freckled Fawn does, I am delighted to be hosting a pretty fantastic giveaway. Here are a few ways I used some of their new wood chips to add a bit of fun to finish off this Project Life spread. I backed the Hello with some white cardstock and adhered it onto the patterned paper. Leaving them simply naked is the easiest way to to add just enough interest and dimension.DSC_0614Lately I've really enjoyed prepping different journaling cards while testing out fun techniques. I wanted to use the love chip as a mask for a Love List journaling card for the week of Valentine's Day. I trimmed some Studio Calico Sweet paper to 3x4 and grabbed my Mister Huey's Letter Jacket and headed outside for some misting.DSC_0619DSC_0621DSC_0622Once it dried, I was left with the colored wood chip and a journaling card that I outlined and filled in.DSC_0626 DSC_0624Another option if you want to add some color to the wood, is to simply pat it on an ink pad.
