oh so happy

Often we allow ourselves to be upset by small things we should
despise and forget. We lose many irreplaceable hours brooding over
grievances that, in a year's time, will be forgotten by us and by
everybody. No, let us devote our life to worthwhile actions and feelings,
to great thoughts, real affections and enduring undertakings.

Well said.
I often get asked how it is that I have such a positive outlook on things. How it is that I spend so much time smiling and laughing. Well, I don't spend all of my time this way, obviously, but I would say that I have worked really hard to create a happy life. A life full of wonderful moments worth remembering and cherishing. I work hard and play hard, and learn valuable lessons each and every day. I used to get mad about traffic and stupid drivers (it still upsets me when people drive like idiots and threaten the lives of those in my car, but usually a little honk will get me over it quick). I have learned many lessons, some the easy way, but most the hard way. I believe we all have choices to make, both large and small, and if we make the wrong choice, we must be okay with choosing to learn the lesson. Learning the lesson and growing every day to be better. I feel blessed to have so much goodness in my life and to have learned to let go of people & things that bring in negative energy.
