Take me out to the ball game

While we were in Chicago in June, JC got us tickets to the Pirates vs. Cubs game. Although I can’t say for sure, I think it was my first time to Wrigley, even though I lived in the northern suburbs for the first 15 years of my life. Upon waking, we got Jack dressed in the Pirates jersey that JC got him from Fanatics, and printed out our tickets. We had an awesome visit with friends, lunch at Crosby’s Kitchen and then headed to the ballpark. Jack goes to the Cubs gameJC got us amazing tickets just 3 rows behind home plate. It was hot and sunny for a while, but Kelly and I took Jack inside and he ended up falling asleep in the Ergo for about 40 minutes. Though the Cubs won 6-3 and his certificate got a bit wrinkled in the luggage, we all had a blast at our first game at Wrigley Field.Jack goes to the Cubs game

    How fun!

I am from Pittsburgh, but lived in the Chicago suburbs for 13 years and never made it to a Cubs (or Sox) game. We moved back to the ‘Burgh 9 years ago and now we go to games all the time! Love the Bucs.

So a couple things worth mentioning.
    1. Fan-freaking-tastic seats. I seriously needs those seats. I’m going to have to rewatch footage of the game to see if I can spot you guys.
    2. What a sin to wear a Philly’s hat to a Cubs game and sit behind home plate! I know, I know, JC’s from Philly, but it’s Wrigley Stadium.
    3. Jack’s first game is a Cub’s certificate, at Wrigley, not Philly.
    4. Congrats on making it through the game with a baby, in Chicago, in the summer.
