from greeting card to PL card

My cousins gave me this adorable Hallmark card for the baby shower and I found the perfect way to save it for Project Life.3x4 Punch | Little Mr. RightI simply used the 3×4 We R Memory Keepers punch (which was available at Studio Calico and Two Peas in a Bucket) – just click Notify Me to be alerted when back in stock. The punch is easy to use, but I must admit takes a bit of muscle. I like to put it on a solid table (preferably a low table – that isn’t a high countertop) and push both my palms (and arms) into it.3x4 Punch | Little Mr. Right 3x4 Punch | Little Mr. RightI saved the inside of the card with the hand written message, but love that this part can live inside of one of my Project Life pockets.

SO cute Amy ! I love when I can incorporate ephemera and memorabilia from everyday life in a creative way onto my PL spreads! Great job here! :) Looking forward to pics of you with Baby C! :) All the best!

I have the We R punch too… I agree it’s handy! But mine makes small “dents” in the upper center and lower center edges of the paper. Thought it was just mine, but I see it on yours too. A bit of a design flaw, I suppose.

MIne does that too Susan! I actually like the little rough edges – at first it bothered me! But i tell my friends who are planning on getting them, if you are a perfectionist, this punch is NOT for you.

Saw that on your project life spread and that what an awesome 4×3 card, I had no idea it was actually cut from a greeting card. What a great idea to be able to include a card in your spread, as sometimes you receive the most gorgeous cards that you just don’t want to throw away. I’ll be using that idea in the future

I love this idea! It’s so awesome that you are documenting your family’s life before and after and he can go back to read/look at it when he’s older. Any day now, Baby C!
