Milestones this month at Two Peas

It’s truly pregnancy brain when you turn to a friend and tell them you are stuck on an assignment for scrapbooking milestones. Without skipping a beat, she simply said, “how about your pregnancy?”. And then we went on to giggle about the whole thing. Here is how my Milestones layout came together. I started off with putting down a thin layer of gesso using a foam brush from side to side. After drying, I added some splatters.DSC_0028I placed the photos down (without adhering them) for planning the rest of the page.DSC_0029 DSC_0030 DSC_0031 DSC_0032 DSC_0035 DSC_0036 DSC_0038 DSC_0039 DSC_0040Final touch was some chevron stitching using our Capture embroidery stencil kit.hello bump2hello bumpHello Bump | Copyright Two Peas In A Bucket

Another darling layout, I love the colors and the stitching! Can I just say I giggled a bit too when I thought about the fact that YOU “got stuck” on a layout ;)

p.s. I met your Mom yesterday at the Patchwork festival…she was fun to chat with. It was so easy to tell how very proud she is of you Amy, what a sweet lady!

You truly are an inspiration, baby brain and all, hehe! I love that you often show how you put a layout together, it makes me want to instantly drop everything and go to scrapbook. This layout is gorgeous and a great milestone to remember for SURE!
