So excited about Allison‘s new collaboration with Webster’s Pages. Her designs have been some of my favorites for years, and these are no exception.The papers are gorgeous – I had a chance to play with her new collection, including transparencies! The colors, icons and patterns are perfection. There’s plenty of woodgrain, chevron, maps and cameras.     Its birthday weekend at our house! Our girls birthdays are two weeks apart, so we always have a big party and go out for movie night the weekend in between. Its extra exciting this year, since we just welcomed their little brother 6 weeks ago…they are pretty excited to take him to his first movie…mommy and daddy just hope we get to stay for the whole movie! lol.     At first glance, I can tell this is a collection I would enjoy using. I’ve been wildly enamored of the map print trend and haven’t gotten enough of it, for one thing. The color combinations are very fresh and appealing! This weekend we’ll be decorating, perhaps even getting our Christmas tree!

    I am going to a crop on Saturday from 10am-6pm. I signed up weeks ago. It’s at a local shop owned by two immensely talented sisters. Can’t wait to see the goody bag, prizes and classes they have planned for us. I’m working on a ‘Sunday Picnic’ (purchased at their store) clipboard and mini-album for a bride-to-be. It would be great if my order from WP (warehouse box, Royal Christmas, and Fairy Tale Christmas) arrived today so I could bring it to the crop ;)

    Such a great new line, am loving it! This weekend is a busy one. Gym in the morning tomorrow, followed by date with my biggest to lunch and to see an abridged Nutcracker while the littlest has a date with my parents, and then I think we’re going to retrieve out tree, and then church on Sunday and small group in the evening….lots of fun stuff!

    This weekend we’ll be spending lots of time in our home. Playing some boardgames with my 10 year old boy. Maybe doing a little scrapping. The weather forecast is cold -6 / – 17 degrees Celsius in the Netherlands. Really great for spending it in a warm and cozy house.
    On sunday my sister is celebretaing her birthday and we’ll be spending some time with her and her family.

    So lots of lovely things ahead of us. ;0)

    the Christmas cards are made and mailed so I can party this weekend. My “adopted” son is having a party at his house Saturday night. There is a vendor faire on Saturday morning.

When we let our pug out in the morning she goes charging out the door looking upwards barking all the way just in case there are birds anywhere. She is one tough little gal at 13 lbs. So i have a special fondness for that paper & Cocoa Daisy stamp! It is going to be sunny but chilly so we will be cycling the hills around here. Thank you!

    Well last night it was a spur of the moment trip to the beach after a warm day, with 3 friends and our 9 kids, a swim, tea and drinks then back to our house for a few more drinks. My boys played cricket this morning and now a quiet afternoon at home :-) May take a trip to our beach shack tomorrow. My daughter has a tummy bug so need to rest her up :-(

    Our weekends and weekdays blur into each other as I’m on maternity leave and my hubby is taking a couple of years off work. But tomorrow we’ve got plans to go to downtown Seattle and look at the holiday decorations, visit Daiso and Pike Place Market. On Sunday hubby is going to the Seahawks game, I got a sitter for our 3yo so I can go shop with friends (and a 2 month old baby tagalong.)

    Love your page, as always! How did you adhere the transparency to the page? I have a hard time with that, since it’s see through. Anyways, I plan on scrapping & hanging out with my family! And maybe do a lil painting! ;)

      Hi Sierra,
      I used tombow liquid glue. Usually I use the Tombow roller adhesive made for vellum and transparencies, but I ran out and haven’t had a chance to restock yet. If I am covering up a part of the transparency, I will just use my American Crafts roller on that part.

    Spent the weekend with friends and family celebrating Leila’s 2nd birthday. Has been wonderful weather here in Geelong (Australia) so we were able to sit outside and enjoy the sun while eating lots of yummy food! Then spent the last hour scrapping away in my PL album..     We did a little Christmas shopping and today my husband has a wish.
    He wants to go tot he little town of Van Wert, Ohio to see the newly refurbished courthouse. IT was built in the early 1900’s and it has beautiful architecture that was uncovered during the renovation. So hi-ho-hi-ho off to VanWert we go :)

    Oh my – Alison Kreft has designed a gorgeous range here – most of my favourite colours are in this collection and it is just beautiful. As for this weekend, it has been less than exciting, with working 3 night shifts and sleeping most of the days. Today we spent finalizing the details for our new house that is being built early next year. So I will no longer be restricted in my creative space as we will be selling the yacht…which also means I will be able to have an actual organized area to work in and have a display area for my Project Life Albums and of course your signed Amy Tan album from your visit Down Under in August this year. But by far the most exciting thing this weekend has been catching up with your blog and seeing this amazing collection – and pretty great layout of yours as well. Take care Amy. :)
