Still loving Project Life, even though I am a bit behind on photographing (I’m blaming June gloom for insufficient lighting indoors). A gentle reminder to keep it simple and realize not every single week has to be documented with detail.

Stayed within a color scheme this week (for the most part), at first unintentionally, then I couldn’t get over how cool it looked. I taught in San Diego at Paper Tales and it was wonderful. Christine did such a nice wrap up on her blog. On a crafty note, I combined a couple stamps – California from the USA Studio Calico set and the Love (I only inked up the Love of the I Love stamp) from the Pieces of me kit. Other supplies: Weekdays stamps, Hello Forever papers, Yellow woodgrain is from this Jillibean Soup collection pack, Mistable camera + Yellow mist (which is THE perfect yellow IMHO), paper scraps, favorite alphas at the moment (back in stock at Two Peas!), HeyDay 6X6 paper pad, washi tapes. And I included my free downloadable washi tape and sized to just under 3″X4″.
You can see all my Project Life posts here. And the Project Life photo pocket pagesare available on Amazon.

still loving the weekdays stamp, might buy it soon! what’s the paper you used with the little yum/heart on it? looks lovely
xxo
It’s Jillibean Soup the yellow woodgrain in this collection pack: http://bit.ly/LNt5bT . I punched a heart and used it as a mask with some mist. Then outlined the heart with pen. And of course I had to use my favorite alphas: http://bit.ly/Lau31H
Thanks!
Thanks so much Amy! Loving woodgrain lately!
Even though I”m not working on PL this year, I love seeing your layouts! My PL from a couple of years ago is not near as colorful and fun, I focused on taking a picture a day, then lost steam as I ran out of interesting things to photograph in my everyday life. I might have to go back to it and see if I can spice it up a bit, using some of you layouts as inspiration.
I’m trying really hard not to be burned out. I guess using my newest supplies is helping with the process. And printing only a few photos to highlight the week helps too. Will be so fun to look on in a couple years. You could totally spice up your new pages, or just do one random week this year and add it to that album for contrast! xo
your pl pages are one of my faves amy:) i forgot about those SC day of the week stamps. i need to pull mine out again. i’m really itching to make a paper layout this weekend…just might do that:)
happy friday!
I broke down and bought that Pieces of Me workshop kit after seeing your “California Love” tag. I also just got the SC days of the week stamps and I can’t wait to use them in my PL this weekend! The class at Paper Tales was a blast for me. I’m bummed I won’t be able to make it up to Oh Scrap tomorrow.
I know you’ll be busy traveling and teaching in the next few months. Hopefully you’ll get a class in down in SoCal again in a few months! ♥
WOWZA I love it! Fabulous job!!!!
Amy! Oh my gosh! I already knew you were amazing when I met you a couple of weeks ago but now I think you are even MORE amazing! Sorrento Market??!! Really?!?! Oh my gosh! I basically grew up there! My dad was super close to the family that owns it and we used to go there all the time. I actually remember being a small child, eating salami, and watering the plants that were around the deli.
Oh my goodness…your post has totally brought back fantastic memories. Thank you so much
ps. Lets be friends!
I want to do Project Life’s Amber Collection so BAD! I keep checking Becky’s web site and Amazon, hoping it’s finally available again, but still no luck. It’s such a pretty range of colors, and I’m just in love with it!
it’s funny, i didn’t want those weekday stamps until i saw them in your layout now i can’t think of anything else!!! i HAVE to have them!!!!
