new month, new look

Happy May everyone! Some of you may have already noticed the fresh look around here. After much contemplation, I finally moved the good ol’ blog from blogspot to my website. I had no idea when I started the blog back in 2007 that it would be anything more than me just sharing random bits of life. For those of you who started reading way back when, thank you! For those who have just recently stumbled upon here, thank you! I love sharing and connecting with all of you and am so glad I finally have the ability to easily respond to comments. Though I won’t be able to respond to each and every one, please know that I read all of them and they definitely brighten my day. Love hearing your feedback and opinions.

I said earlier that I moved the blog over here, but really I had very little to do with it. Being somewhat technically challenged when it comes to complex stuff like that, I cannot tell you how happy I am that June Lily is around. They made the transition seamless, and were able to salvage every single post and comment! I cannot recommend them highly enough. Check out June Lily for a list of services.

Welcome to the Everyday Storyteller blog hop. This digital idea book from the owner of Simple Scrapper, Jennifer Wilson,¬†will be released at 10pm CDT on Friday, May 4. If you haven’t signed up yet for their VIP list and launch party, you may want to do it now, as there are over $700 in prizes.

I share plenty of tips on how to incorporate memorabilia into your mini books and memory keeping projects. You may even spot a glimpse of my project in this little video.

With 33 inspiring contributions from across the scrapbooking industry, Everyday Storyteller is an essential resource for the modern memory keeper. Find out how your favorite scrapbookers document their stories, create amazing pages and still have time to make memories.
