One of the prompts at Two Peas this month is a focus on patterned papers. I decided to use my favorite combinations of patterns – woodgrain, polka dots and florals to create a colorful layout. I used some behind the scenes photos from the TBS Trends With Benefits shoot at Urbanic. Here is how this page came together.

If you’re wondering, I did use the make up artist’s hair as inspiration for the layout. Copyright Two Peas In A Bucket

Love this! Love the sewing on the page especially. I have a new sewing machine and this is great inspiration! Wondering if the small heart in the top corner is machine-stitched?
Hi Cathy – yes, the heart is also free motion stitched on the sewing machine.
Hate to bug you, Amy, but I really want to try free motion stitching! Do you have a special “foot” for your machine, or do you just take the presser foot off when you do free motion stitching?
No worries – maybe this is a good idea for a future video tutorial. I use a different foot that I purchased from my sewing store. Do you have a local store you can go to? They told me which foot to buy and also how to lower the feed on my machine. Also you can try googling “free motion sewing” and see if there are videos and tutorials. Hope this helps!
Thanks so much! I’m thinking it’s a quilting foot, I’ve been doing a little research – so glad for the internet! I’ll stop by my local store. I think a video tutorial would be awesome!
Just got my new quilting foot! This is going to take some practice!!!
Very cool layout ♥

What brand is your stapler? I’ve been meaning to get a proper long-reach one for scrapbooking for ages. Thanks!
The stapler is Swingline and it’s from Staples.
Thank you so much! I LOVE to see other’s “process” pages. Don’t know why, but it always inspires me SO much!! LOL
Beautiful layout!
